I have had the chance to do a side-by-side of the two, using lossless files vs. the original CD. The BeoSound 8 simply blows the BeoSound 1 away. May I suggest something like Anita Baker's "Sweet Love". The highs are a bit cleaner, the vocals are richer, and there is a guitar that the BeoSound 1 simply doesn't present at all. Even

Hello all, silly but please try and report. Go back through the menu set up and store all the settings, then pull main power for 45 seconds, plug back in and try.

Not to be too TripEnglishy, but I would think its age alone would answer that question. Or you old search the threads. :-)

Yes but does it have a transformer that is a 5-12V DC output? Your Sub needs a 5-12V trigger to turn on. It sounds like your shop didn't supply it for you.

I suspect the arc is 20-40 degrees total. They are also correct that in the set-up menu you can limit the total motion as you see fit. Razlaw also hits upon

Hi guys, More than lossless, Qobuz make it possible to buy albums in a Studio Masters quality too. Thanks again Marc for making me discover this website, now I don't buy music from iTunes anymore Cheers,
I never understood the iTunes hype

Sadly, no. The Danes don't feel that there's any reason for the door to open unless you're right in front of the unit anyway. The only exception I can think of is the BeoSound 1, which in some situations could be too high up for some people to reach easily. Russ
