Well certainly surprising they have pulled out of manufacturing the panles seen as they where in the plasma market early guess they should of focused more on selling to third parties like sharp does with it's lcd panels. I think the reason sony uses samsung panels was that they were late o the flat screen market and didn't want to play catch

looking at that linn product you need a separate storage device will this be the same on the BS5? i think it would be a better solution to have the storage built in as hard disk sizes are quite large and don't take up that much space so 1TB with 1 disk or 2TB with 2 disks is possible i guess all depends on how big B&O want it to be.

Well is it to far fetched to think Apple might give B&O access to it's itunes content? I've heard several times that Steve jobs is a fan of B&O and the price point of the BS5 is unlikely to compete with the apple tv so apple can't loose.

Yes my prized B&O book that a certain peter kindly gave to me, But im sure had it been a raffle i would of lost. I might treat myself to something B&O this summer once i have passed my first year uni.

B&O being taken over by private would almost certainly be bad thing so i would rather a large company like samsung bought it. Do either of the bang or olufsen families own many shares in the company still.
