Have just read the post, I think it would be too much work for me to do. I havn't got that much spare time on my hands, well done though. If anybody with a HD BV5 can share their thoughts it would be great to know what you think of it. Cheers, David.

  • Beovision 5 HD?

Hello, I'm considering a BV5 HD to replace ny DVD Avant which is the hub TV in my house. Could anybody let me know if it is a good set too buy or not? I will be looking for the last of the line model. I appreciate that the PQ will not be up to modern standards but would the TV make a good stop gap before I could afford a used BV9? Cheers, David

Hi, Thanks for the replies Gents. I'm not aware of any electrical devices near the Tv's. Two of the TV's are B&O the other is a Pioneer Plasma. Merry Christmas, David

  • Link TV picture problems.

Well as some of you know I have had picture problems on my link TV's for a while. I put up with the problem for about 6 months then I thought I would make a good effort at fixing the problem. • Re: What is the point of link TVs

Yes it is a great system, especially when I can put a DVD in the Avant and watch it in the bedroom while the wife watches "What Not To Wear" on the sat channel downstairs. Also the kids can watch what they want in the family room and have control of the Beo4, which they love.

  • Re: Ghosting on link TV

Hi Keith, Yes the Sky+ is conected via scart lead and the link output is connected to the B&O amp. I will check the cable to the amp tommorow to see if that helps things. My link frequency is 527 but I don't know how to fine tune this? Could you point me in the right direction please? Cheers, David.

  • Re: Ghosting on link TV

I have 3 tv's linked to my Avant at home. I always had a bad picture on the link TV's, I used to get diagonal lines across them so I have just fitted the B&O Link amplifier. The picture quality has improved alot but if I get up close to the TV's you can see feint horisontal lines and slight ghosting. All my channels come through the
