    Hasn't anybody got an idea what might be wrong. Is the laser ok if it finds all the tracks? Can I have broken a wire while fiddleing with the laser unit? /riis

    After having spent several hours repairing my beloved CD 50 for the usual tray problems everything works fine except for one thing. It doesn't say a sound..............The tray opens and closes smoothly, the laser goes back and forth in order to find the right tracks, but unfortunately no sound. I have checked all the wires, but I can't figure

    Actually I had already ordered a new battery when I wrote this post. It arrived later today and......you were right. The phone works alright now (so far). The thing that puzzles me is that the battery indicator showed that the old battery was fully charged.

  • Beocom 6000 problem

    My Beocom 6000 has started to act strangely. When it receives a call it rings once and then turns off. It is totally dead then, but I can call it back to life by pressing the DOT button. I have tried resetting.

    I have located the problem to the contact which is driven by the big gear wheel. It seems as if the wheel doesn't turn enough to force the contact to the other side, but leaves the contact in the middle.
