  • Re: Beocom 6000 can't connect to base

classicbuff: Recently purchased a second hand Beocom 6000 system, consisting of a main base with a handheld and a second base with handheld. The second handheld works fine, but the main handheld asks to register it with base. When I press OK, it says "out of range" and then "search base, wait" and it never finds the base. Also there

  • Re: New product 2008/2009

propaganda: Is it worth waiting for the bluray upgrade or should one go for a PS3 now? No reason to get a PS3 now that the Panasonic DMP-BD35K is available. It is extremely inexpensive, provides superb video and audio quality, supports all the advanced audio codecs such as DTS HD MA), outputs lossless LPCM over HDMI 1.1 that is compatible with BV7,

  • Re: Zektor and BeoSound 1

beojeff: I recall B&O tech support advising me that certain motorola devices use the same code as certain Zektor boxes, which results in interference. You should ask for Roland in U.S. tech support to see if he can help with a solution. Latest inside information is that Rolland Rahr was recently laid off by BOA. Too bad. He was just about the only

  • Re: Keyring - A9 (light in diode yes or no?)

My wife and I got matching A9 keyrings last Christmas. They have turned out to be a mixed blessing. My wife was constantly turning the B&O video or audio equipment unintentionally on or off whenever she picked up her keys whilst entering or leaving the house. I finally solved the problem by removing the battery from her key ring -- it was easier than

  • Re: Beolink Wireless 1 Timer Function

TVigier: Thanks for your quick answer. The timer play function doesn't seem to interest a lot of people. I asked my B&O local dealer this afternoon and he called B&O France technical service. I've got 5 wireless (one transmitting, two connected to 2 beolab 3500, one to beolab 4000 and the last to a beolink passive and passive speakers

  • Re: Zektor and BeoSound 1

I haven't used my BS1 or Zektor switch in over a year, so this info is all from my increasingly dim memory of how it all functions. I hope I still have it all straight. The Zektor switch should be used only for the three component video leads from each video source; the audio and IR connections from each source should be connected to and switched directly

  • Re: Beolink Wireless 1 Timer Function

I didn't get any replies to my original question on this forum. I also contacted Bang & Olufsen America, they had no idea why the timer function on the wireless units didn't work, but said they would contact Struer and then get back to me. Predictably, they did neither. I finally contacted customer service in Struer myself, and they suggested that I

  • Beolink Wireless 1 Timer Function

Has anyone managed to get the timer function on the Beolink Wireless 1 to function? I have two of these units linked to a Beosystem 3, but can't get the timer function to work on either of them. The timer function works just fine on the Beosystem 3 itself.

  • Re: Considering going from BL9 to BL5

Morgan: Yes, they have been updated. I think the update was about the PIN code. I´m sure that Keith or Soundproof could help you with this. There has been one software update for the BL5s. Its purpose was to eliminate the timing error that causes a sudden deafening blast of white noise (pink noise, actually) when switching from analogue to digital
