Yes you are correct Keith, I did borrow a spare BC6000 to test with my existing base. Any suggestions where I should take the phone for repair? My local B&O shop or a specialist....? Simon

Hello Keith, I only have one Beocom 6000 mkI connected to my phone line plus a Beocom 2400. Both are connected through broadband filters just as the phone line comes into the house. I plan to move the BC6000 base unit to a higher position, possibly on the phone extension to see if this helps. It is only at a height of 1200mm at the moment, although

Peter, the problem I am having with the BL5000 is that it won't receive "feedback" from equipment ie "no contact". I normally use the BL7000 for programming on my BS7000 and BC9500, but I have just aquired the BL5000 in a "job-lot" of other stuff!!:) It works fine in both one-way and two-way comms with each system for

Thanks for the quick reply Peter! The MX is a type 7842 with SW version 2.0 and ML 1.1 I do plan to fit it myself so any instruction would be really useful. Once again thanks for your help. Oh and by the way, I'm still waiting for an answer on the official B&O site........ Simon

The BL5000 display covers are fixed to the speakers with the usual double sided tape. I have one which has come loose and needs re-sticking but haven't got round to it yet! I wouldn't like to remove it if it wasn't loose, be very careful.....good luck! Simon
