Guys My BC1 is starting to stop midway through DVD playback..... Any ideas what could be causing this, or what I can do to clean the lens.... It doesn't like my CD lens cleaner disc that I have... Thanks Gary

Thanks to a small pair of hands and a plastic sword, I have a surface scratch on my Avant RF Screen. I'm sure this has been discussed on the forum before, but my searches aren't bringing anything up.. Any suggestions on what I should do... Thanks Gary

I think we're at the point where I would like to see iconic classic design that is pretty much fixed, where the software is updated, think iPhone here, no radical changes to the design, but the sotware is easily updated, either flashed from a USB or via the internet. I read with interest the latest thread on the BL8000 and whether its still a good

you can only control your iTunes library on your computer using the iPod Touch or the iPhone using the remote control app, which you can download for free from the iTunes store. You cannot connect the BS4 and your iPod directly.

I use a mac mini, works perfectly for what I require, ie: watching downloaded content and viewing photos. I stream my itunes library from a seperate iMac wirelessly using an airport express in lossless format, sounds pretty good to me and allows me to use my iphone as the remote.

so could you use an automatic scart splitter to connect a Wii, Set Top Box and Mac mini to the AV input and if so, what would you select on the Avant menu?
