I have 2 Beomaster 5000s type 2322 both with the same fault. When searching for FM stations nothing is found above about 92MHz below this frequency both work fine. I have checked the tuning voltage and this ramps up as expexted during the search, any thoughts or assistance would be appreciated Stuart

I am restoring a pair of Beolab Pentas and I am looking for one of the metal top part of the cabinet shown as 9104 in the manual, part number 3458407, one of mine is bent, does anyone have anything suitable a used one would be fine. Stuart

Could you describe how your LC1 is connected to the supply and the lamp. I have one but do not know which connection is which Stuart

You have to resolder the connections on the transformer as shown in the service manual, I can copy you the information if required Stuart

Ihad a quick look at the back of the CD50 and if you remove the lid there is a voltage selector at the back. I suspect that all the Beomaster 5000 are fitted with the same transformers and you would only have to change the links, if not I have a spare transformer but it is heavy and postage will be expensive. I have just had a quick look at the service manual for the 5000 and it shows the transformer as suitable for 110V operation however the Beocord 5000 shows a 240V transformer in the UK but I can have a look inside one and confirm tomorrow, I take it you have a CD50 and beogram if you let me know I can check these Stuart

It should be possible to link the transformer for 110V operation, I am at work now but I can check when I get home tonight Stuart

I recently acquired a beosystem 2500 and everything works except the remote control, I have had a quick check with the scope and the remote receiver appears to work. Is it possible that this is a configuration problem, is it possible to disable the remote function and if so how do I fix it. Stuart
