I will be very interested to see some pics of the new Serene too...having almost bought a Serene recently but decided not to for several reasons...and my dealer said that there would be no replacement for a very long time???

I have a black BV-7 32 and it looks wonderful. A friend of mine has a silver one and he always says that mine looks much better...but then his was a free insurance replacement after an electrical storm and replaced his old BV-3 and so he is not therefore complaining! The Beolab 7.1 is a great stereo speaker...even though we have a 5.1 surround system

We have a Lab 7.1 with our BV-7...and we have Lab 3 front and Lab 4 rear...and a Lab 2. We like our set-up...although i would like to compare a Lab 7.4 in our home just out of interest...but there are quite a few programs that we do not want to watch in Speaker 3 or 5 mode...The News or documentaries for example. Some programs just don't sound right

tom: try to trade in your 8000s, get the BV7 with BL7.4 and add a pair of BL9s. You can buy BL2 and rear speakers later, or now, if there is no budget. The BL7-4 BL9 combination is very good, I was listening to it at my dealer for some time. I thought that the Lab 9s already had a sub in them? Am i wrong?

Before you buy a grey BV-7 have a good look at a black one...i have one and it looks totally James Bond gorgeous! A friend of mines' dad has grey and he much much prefers mine. My red lights only flash when the phone line is pulled out the wall or when you are using them. Can you set the Beocom 6000 to flash as a warning of unanswered calls too...that would be extremely useful for the 1571 answer machine service.

Hi all, as it says...can the Serene have software upgrades? There was a software upgraded version of the mobile released at the end of 2006...but did that mean that the previous model could have the update downloaded into it too? Cheers.

Peter, why don't you get some Lab 4s as rear speakers and move your Lab 4000s into the other room? Just a thought?

I already have a pair of Lab 3s...my wife likes them because they get used by us so much. She even likes my Lab 2! She doesn't think that i use a mobile enough to justify spending so much on one. However...i bet if i was buying it for her that would be a different matter!!! I will have to take another look at the U600 and find out a bit more about
