Hello, I am looking to install my BeoCenter 2300 (type 2611) into the bedroom, masterlinked (using the Beolink converter) to my main system setup (Avant CTV+BeoSound 9000). So far so good. I also wish to use my BC2300 as an alarm clock to wake me up with music for a perfect day ;-) As I know that BC2300 doesn't have any timer function, could I instruct

Hello, is it an electronic hum or a high pitch whine? or both? In case of high pitch whine, it could be also the mechanics of the tray. Personally, I had a high pith whine with my CD50 (1984) and I had to change the belt (it has melted and the drive motor was not turning appropriately). An in-dept "cleaning and greasing" of the mechanics is

Tom, I have looked at the pictures. IMO, the "bending" you are talking about is due to the short focal lens used for the snapshop and not because of the weight of the unit. In other terms, the guy took the picture from close up, needing a wide view angle and then resulting in a "fish eye" effect. This effect is also visible on the

Thanks Chris! I have ordered the belt from Martin. I'll choose beer to join me during the operation, it is more secure if it gets longer! ;-) Greetings, Pascal.

Thank you Chris for the tip. I will PM Martin ASAP. Did you find it tough to replace the belt? Do you have any tips/instructions/recommandations to unmount/mount the chassis? Thanks again. Pascal

Hello again. I have made my homeworks and this is what I have found if you are interested. I am intending to connect the AppleTV to the Decoder scart of the Avant which should be RGB scart. Already B&O AppleTV experts may also let us know if they have tried these or have other solutions that work. Thank you. Cheers! http://www.threedoubleyou.com

Thank you for your quick replies. So it sounds feasible and even great (I am more looking for a music and photo solution. But I guess video will follow soon). This is a good start! Sorry to bother, but I cannot find any cables going component (Audio+Video) to Scart. I have checked all around but cannot find this one specifics... Any references please

Hello, I am interested to the AppleTV solution for my B&O setup. However I have some questions and knowledge from experienced B&O fans would be so appreciated! - First, I have an EU Avant CTV 28" 100Hz (Type 8364), is the AppleTV compatible? - What kind of cables should I use to connect to Avant (has on Scart inputs, decoder available.
