Dust covers and their related bits are extremely rare. Best bet is to find donor parts from non working equipment, such as those that (rarely) show up on ebay.

@Daniel I think you're right about the Loewe speaker. I have no idea how it sounds as a center channel, but at least it was designed for that purpose. I have seen a BL6000 used as a center channel (with a special end cap fitted on the bottom). It looked ok and sounded ok. Unfortunately for Monkab, this approach might still be out of budgetary reach

A topic much discussed in this forum. Do follow Daniel's advice and search the forum for the many threads dealing with this issue. I'm afraid that in my opinion, you're headed down a very long dark path with this. The black box that you found is the only "easy" way of doing what you're suggesting. I for one have discouraged

"I used to buy B&O really because it was well made, looked great but particularly because it was easy to use - one button and it was playing. I suppose the Beomaster 2400 was what really attracted me; no buttons visible at all. It all seems so complex now" My first B&O was a BM3000, the successor to the 2400 you mention Peter. And

1. BL 8000 2. BL 4500 (never owned) 3. Tie BL 6000/BL 4000 4. RL 60.2 (on floor stand with original coiled wire) 5. Pentas (never owned) I've owned other B&O speakers, but they didn't speak to me. The new range will grow on me. It's such a departure in design terms, that it will take time. No question the sound of the new range is spectacular

Not specifically, but I believe it was within the last year or two.

Trip, Where can one source Bosscom in the US? Thanks.

Looks the same or similar. For older BL3500 it is meant to be used for the link cable for systems with the old standard for linking; MCL prior to ML. For very new BL3500 it is a proper PL socket.

I disagree that counterfeit is counterfeit. While on a moral level counterfeit may have some universal definition, and while there are absolutely international conventions that define counterfeit, this is a legal term that is likely to vary somewhat from nation to nation. Furthermore, I believe the reference you make, precisely answers your own question
