Never seen www.gemm.com before - very nice site, too! What I like about www.musicstack.com, though, is you can specify media so if you are searching for a specific album you will only get hits in vinyl if that's what you want.

I can recommend all vinyl lovers to check out www.musicstack.com It's a site compiling lots of retailers where you can buy both used and new vinyl records, CD's etc. I've used it regularly in the last 4-5 years. Make sure you check out the retailers feedback before ordering, though! I prefer the 180 gram vinyls :)

Peter : Not sure what the gripe about the BM1600 is either! It was a splendid design if a little impractical and even boasted a glass display panel. The indirect coupled amplifier was a disappointment following the excellent BM1500 though and longevity was certainly not a strong suit! Well, I can only speak for myself but I really hate the BM1600 design

All you haters of the Beocenters 2xxx, are you forgetting the Beomaster 1600? That is simply appalling compared to ANY other Beomaster/center they ever made http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=327

Lee, I know and understand that you're against the idea of 'watering down' the prize draw but let's assume that BeoWorld announced that as of, say, 1 June 2009 the prize draw will feature slightly less expensive prizes, then that would be a fair notice for anyone that considers joining BW merely for the prize draw. The problem with that

benkap: I think it looks great! But with a black upper plate it would look excellent :) mobeyone: No bad! how about having the front black? would that be possible? Is there an echo in here? Just kidding! I agree with you, mobeyone, the front should be black for optimal 'bling' effect

doomlordis: What about allowing non silver/gold members to be entered into the monthly draw for a small fee (payable through paypal?) To be fair, non-gold members ARE allowed to enter the monthly draw for a whole year for a small fee - £30!

Very nice! I use a BG4500 with my BS6500. Sometimes I think I want to switch to a BG6500 - they both are extremely good looking record players so it is hard to decide wich one I like better. You are very lucky to get a MMC2 with your BG! I have an MMC1 on my BG and it sounds really good to my ears. I hope the platter was on the BG6500, though! Here's

I think it looks great! But with a black upper plate it would look excellent :) Jooka, you say it is too shiny - do you like B&O products such as BS4500, BS9500, BS6 etc?

Now done refoaming the CX50's! Foam rings and dust caps replaced. I used a cut up x-ray of my hand as shims The speakers are working perfectly using foam rings ordered from goodhifi. I haven't had time to listen to them properly yet, though. Would still like to know about others' experience about foam. Surely someone here must have tried
