Thanks for the post Stephan. A couple of questions: 1. The controller column looks like it's plastic as opposed to the aluminium of the original Beound 5. Is it simply the lighting in your photos? 2. How does the Encore connect to an iTunes library on your PC/Mac? Does it pick it up over wi-fi or do you have to connect it physically?

Ah - sorry I misunderstood the point. On another note, how does the Encore connect to an iTunes library on a computer? I'm hoping wirelessly. Is this the case?

Not to mention the positions of the antenna breaks. And the clincher is the home button. Only Apple uses the rounded off corner icon on the home button.

But that pic shows what looks very much like an iPhone 4. The placement of the earpiece, camera and side buttons are all exactly as on an iPhone 4.

I've written to B&O on at least two occasions to request an updated version of the Earset 3 with a less bulky inline remote and a volume control. This is exactly what I wanted so I'm a happy man. The bass in the A8s/Earset 3 is excellent. It's nice and neutral and not overly boomy.

I have a question about the earset 3: Has anyone (the sheep perhaps - most entertaining!) heard whether B&O intend to release a newer version of the Earset 3 that features a volume control? That statement has been on the Apple website for months. They only updated it recently to include references to the 3GS.
