The 4000 series of decks are becoming less common and those that do exist are usually fairly cossetted. The reason they suggest not using the iPad in the BS8 when wall mounted is a stability issue. The iPad can fall out, which could be a bit of a downer! I would suggest the dock exnder would be the most sensible solution as you will maintain sound quality. Shame the BS8 does not have Airplay.

You mix the two together and apply either with a cloth or fine wire wool. Obviously take the top off first!! Work along the grain and it gets rid of all the dirt quickly.

Nice looking 5000 - I like the rosewood ones as well. To get the tuner marks off, clean the rosewood - I use linseed oil and white spirit - and then use beeswax to get the beautiful colour back.
