I purchased a Besound 1 from an ebay seller in Austria. It is working fine with a 240/110 converter. Service Manual for the Besound 1 explains that jumper 2J2 on PCB2 shoud be mounted for 110v, dismounted to 240v. It was mounted when I received the unit, but was supplied with the euro mains lead. My question: with the jumper in place, may I replace
I think you can convert a Beosound 1 for US by simply connecting a jumper on the power supply board. You also might need to set the tuner mode using the service manual if you intend on using FM. It looks like they have the service manual here on the site.
Service Manual states that the jumper should be OFF for

I could always bring in one of my Beocom 6000 phones that I'm not currently using, too! lol

I'll keep my eyes peeled for something.....can an A9 keyring be programmed so that the three buttons are volume up, volume down, mute or stop? That would work, too.

Update: Received the Beosound 1 from the seller in Austria: slight damage to the front bottom corner where some plastic cracked, and the very bottom corner of the metal grill was flattened: out of view next to my desk anyway. Purchased a voltage converter from RadioShack on the way to work. Plugged it in: no juice. Called another RadioShack in the area
I can see you're a gold-member, so you should just download the manual for the Beolink 5000 (if it's there -I can't remember) Otherwise -I will try and find my manual, so I can tell you how... Steffen
I don;'t own the BL 5000: I'm curious about whether this or which other remotes would work

Thnaks, all: to clarify: I am looking to purchase a remote, and to do so economically as possible. Beolink 5000 came up on hte auction radar, so why not?? Much appreciated

I recently purchased a Beosound 1 fr my office: a great deal for a euro model out of Vienna: slight damage during shipping, but it'll be hidden anyway. I know my Terminal 3300 works with my Beomaster 3300 and Beosystem 3200: will a Beolink 5000 work with a Beosound 1 and what other remotes will work with the Beosound 1? All I really care about as

If you have an ipod touch, iphone, or a way to aux-in something with internet access to your system, or it can't hurt to just listen away from your B&O: try Pandora Radio: you can put in a song or artist that you like, and Pandora will form a "radio station" spooling songs from similar artists, similar style/genre. It'll open up

I have one running on a Beomaster 3300 system with RL 45's and I think it complements them nicely. I have a second set of RL 35's that I intend to add as the 2nd set of speakers on this system: I just haven;t found the time or motivation to test them out vs the RL/Cona combination. I initally had this set up in a large room and @ louder volume
