Hi All, I have a MX6000 TV-set (type 7863 ETS SW2.0) and I bought a BEO4 for it. Now I have troubles getting the sound adjusted. I have added V.SETUP to the BEO4 and now I can adjust the picture, but when BASS appears on the screen of the BEO4, nothing happens. It won't respond to the GO button. If I press the arrow buttons, it either switches channel

After reading some topics on the forum I decided to try to turn G2 on the RGB board gently. This had a big positive effect on the picture. I can now read the text. Still, the picture is out of focus on the edges. It has 'shadows', like the colours are not laid exactly on top of each other. What to do next? thanks in advance, Bart.

There is no separate potmeter on the output transformer itself; the potmeter placed directly after (electronically) the transfomer on a different PCB placed on the neck of the tube.

Yes, it reacts when I turn it slowly, but still I can't get it in focus: The picture is getting better and then...I am at the end of the potentiometer's reach.

Hi all, My MX4000 is having the problem that it only focuses properly in the centre of the picture. It is getting more and more out of focus when you get to the edges of the screen. Because it had a staying-in-stand-by problem I already replaced almost any electrolyt capacitor on the main board except the small 1uF/50V (C130 and C32) and 2u2/50V (C61

Hi Mark, I have to say that I am not very familiar with all B&O record decks, but I do know something about RIAA circuits. As long as there is a DC power supply (like +/- 15V), or room for a power supply inside the turntable, you can build in any RIAA circuitry you like. There are many circuit diagrams available on the internet and they can quite

Thanks for your help Richard, I do think that both DVD and tuner are connected with RGB rather than CVBS. The DVD has CVBS connection on the front that I do not use. The tuner is a simple Samsung with no options of choice. Therefore I think that the SCART is used for RGB. It is very likely that you are right about the capacitors. Especially the fact

Hi Richard, By the looks of the picture with B&O logo by your name, I'm quite sure we met yesterday. But to get back to the issue; no, the picture isn't stable. It's not synchronizing and the colors aren't stable either. After about half a minute, the stable picture gets through and it stabilizes and after that it is OK. But this
