  • Re: Masterlink hi-fi

Hi Nicky, I believe the BS4000/Overture was the first with Masterlink. The 8000/8500/9300/9500, 4500, or 6500/7000 systems do not have masterlink, but can be be connected to a BeoLink Converter, which essentially gives it Masterlink. If you like the shelf type systems, just get a Beolink converter to use with it, and you should be good to go!

  • Re: Avant Problem

Hi Razlaw, This may be a longshot, but...Was your Sony TV a newer model with a digital tuner? The Avant's built in tuner is an analog one, so will not pick up the newer digital cable signals without a cable/converter box (unless your cable company is still using analog signals). Tommy

  • Re: BeoCom 6000 Mk1 network down

Glad you got it fixed! I had a problem earlier this year with my BeoCom 6000 handset (I only have one handset). After owning it for about 10 years, it suddenly stopped controlling the audio volume of my equipment one day. I checked with the repair center, and was advised that I would probably have to send it in and have the board replaced. Afterwards

  • Re: Attyca 2 Found at Home Consignment Center

Deal! I've always loved the design of the Attyca furniture, though I've never owned one. I understand about not having the room though, I'm not sure if I would have the room right now either....well....maybe! Either way, cool find!

  • Re: B&O Record Changers

Martin: Thanks for the reply, and for sharing the pics (those are cool)! Have you ever worked on or restored one of these? Step1: Yes, I would like to see one work too, especially in person! Here in the U.S., we don't typically see products older than the 70's, and I personally have never seen any products here older than the 60's. I understand

  • Re: BV10 Feature Activation

Thanks for the explanation Trip, that makes a lot of sense. After first reading this thread, I was also wondering what the Matrix solution was. I think it's a cool solution, but I personally don't have that many TV's!

  • B&O Record Changers

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone here has (or has ever seen/used) one of the old B&O record changers, such as the "S 507 LP", which is pictured in some of the B&O classic product posters and is even listed here on BeoWorld? Does anyone know anything about it, or any of the other older changers? While I thoroughly enjoy
