Hi I received my BS5 last Friday (4th), and I must admit, it is a fantastic music system, it has replaced my BS6500. However, the MOTS took quite some time to finish, or, almost to finish. I have about 17.000 tracks on the BM5 and it took about 1 week to get to 96% finished, but the last 4 days it has not progressed any further. Does anyone know what

I have a BR player in my BV7-55, but today I would prefer an Oppo 93/95 player, it is excellent in the picture and sound and can decode DTS-MA. Further it is quite fast, it supports DNLA and can even play MKV files. Just the specifications are amazing! http://oppodigital.com/blu-ray-bdp-95/ And, it can be controlled via PUC.
It is not for the BS5 Encore, only for the BS/BM5 and sticks to the base of BS5 as a second plate below the screen. The ripping process shall be automatic: just insert a CD and off you go. Roger
Can the existing BS5 be used, or does it require a new version of the BS5?
The platform is very flexible in being able to add major features for free over the life of the product.
It is then going to be interesting to see how long "for free" will last, until MKII?
