  • Re: Beocord VX 5000 belt

I bought a selection of belts from a local electrics shop and got the beocord working. There was a cassette stuck inside the machine but when i changed the belt it came out beautifully. The picture is quite distorted; it's wavy and rough. I'll have to go through the procedures shown in the vx5000 repair topic to improve this. One of those capstain

  • Beocord VX 5000 belt

I'd need to replace the capstan motor belt for my vx5000. Could someone help me with the measurements? What are the correct diameter and belt profile? Thanx in advance, Pirkka

  • Re: Just bought BM1900

Yeah, i'm sure i'm going to have to replace the capacitors. But anyways i still wanted to start this project with something bit simpler... I've noticed while restoring my cars, that sometimes you have to do something fun to boost the project, like polishing chorme or clean the interior and such. Otherwise the project gets easily too tedious

  • Just bought BM1900

Hi all! I've written on this site only couple of times and it's been a while since the last posting. But now i'd like to start a new topic as i've just bought myself a new project. I found a Beomaster 1900 which was for sale quite cheaply so i couldn't resist buying it. The BM has all the typical faults for this model +some extra

  • Re: Beomaster 1100 phono input

Ok, i guess i just leave the connections the way they are then. I understood from the article, i mentioned, that in a BM 1100 it might be easier to skip the RIAA stage than it was in a BM 901. Thanks! -Pirkka-

  • Re: Beomaster 1100 phono input

Thank you! Yes, my mixer has a pre-amplifier and it's connected to the tape socket at the moment. But the Beocentral's article suggests that you could connect both phono-level and line-level turntables to Bomaster 1100's phono socket. I know that the Beomaster 901 has this possibility but it requires some changes in the wiring. So, i was

  • Beomaster 1100 phono input

I have a Beomaster 1100 tuner/amplifier. I've connected two record players to its tape-input through a mxer at the moment. I red from the Beocentral pages that Beomaster 1100 had a phono input that would accept turntables with a magnetic pickup or turntables that have preamplifier. Here's the link for the article about BM 1100: http://www.beocentral
