    thanks jeff had decided i liked it if it was jap or not but still would have felt cheated if i found made in japan on it. i bought it on ebay for £40 so i'm really pleased glad you rate it so much .do you have any experiance with 4 ohm vs 8 ohm speakers on this im currently running jbl control 1 's @ 8 ohms and wondered if a 4 ohm speaked

    Hi all has anyone got any advice on cleaning the switches on the front of this unit. when i got it it had been dormant for a few years. when powered up the volume bass and treble sliders crackled when moved but a few flicks up and down fixed it the only problem left is the input buttons crackle when touched .this is not really a huge problem just annoying

    thanks for the response peter it came with full drawings which show adjustments for lots of diffrent parameters most of which i dont understand so i havent dared twiddle with it i'll try a diffrent input (cd player)and see if that helps thanks again.

    hi i'm new to forums so i hope i'm doing this right a have a question i hope someone will be kind enough to answer. i have just bought an old beomaster 2200 and am delighted with it i have made a lead to connect my mp3 player to the tape input. however it seems quite quiet the radio is loud enough at level 2 but on the tape input with the mp3
