  • Re: Beocenter 9300

I agree. The 9300 actually takes up a far amount of space! The 9300 is the last of the series, despite the nomenclature, and is essentially a 9500 box with the innards of a 2500. These are very user friendly systems and have the big advantage over the stack system that close up operation is very comprehensive. The problem with all of these systems is

  • Re: beogram 3400

There are two types of 3400. The EU model looks very like the 1100 type and is designed to be used with a Beomaster 3400. It has the option of being fitted with a CD4 decoder and if fitted, there will be a small red light next to the nomenclature on the top panel. Most 3400s do not have this fitted. These are the Type 5703. The waters are muddied slightly

  • A new forum

Not sure how many entries I have written entitled a new forum in the past - I think we must be up to abou 6 or 7 - but this one would appear to be the best yet. Staggered by the huge amount of work that Keith has put into this launch - makes my manual uploading seem very small beer! We are truly lucky to have him on board and of course Lee who bankrolls

  • Re: Beolab 4. What do you guys think?

I think the Beolab 4 is a bit weak to be honest. I would far rather get a second hand pair of Beolab 4000s.

  • Re: WELCOME TO THE NEW BEOWORLD FORUM

A big well done to Keith who has been slaving away and seems to be somehow ahead of schedule! This has been a huge task and one that Keith has just got on with. The site quite frankly could not function without him.

  • Re: Beocentral Book Review

Could as many as people as possible do a short review on Amazon. It helps attract custom and I know Nick and Tim would appreciate it. You don't need to write as much as the first idiot did!

  • Re: AV7000 died

Hi Kevin, The AV7000 is a surround sound processor made for the US market so that one could integrate a B&O sound system with usually third party video equipment. It matches the Beosystem 7000 perfectly as it is the same size and shape as a Beomaster 7000. It has outputs for a passive centre speaker and would attach via Audio Aux to the Beomaster

  • Re: Beogram 1800 5813 cartridge question.

No. You need a MMC1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. The MMC10 uses a completely different mounting. The best advice is to get a Soundsmith SMMC4 though. Much better.
