Now hear this, Struer. This is the way forward. A micro thin acetate strip impregnated with a magnetic compound. This could be scanned vertically and helically by a circular rotating pickup, which the acetate strip is wrapped half way round, and slowly drawn forward by a motor and coiled up on a secondary reel. Ola, You know the Beocom 6000 is not the same as a mobile phone, you are not supposed to let it go flat before you charge it. It should be replaced in the charger when not in use, the onboard computer decides when to charge it and when not to. I know this doesn't help the present problem but bear this in mind when you get going again. Have you got

Hi Jeff, and welcome to Beoworld. I am not familiar with the 3200, but it does seem to me that it is not receiving an adequate radio signal, and therefore not locking on to a station. Double check that you have the aerial plugged in correctly and that the aerial is ok. Failing that, someone will surely be along who is more qualified than me to help
