Hi George and welcome to the forum. What a lovely system you have, I have one myself. The Beo4 can do anything you want from your 7000 except setting up timers, and it is a bit tricky tuning radio channels, though not impossible. I have to let you down gently about RDS. The only advantage with the RDS is that it shows in a small display on the Beolink

Are you sure Chris? ipods can be bought in the UK with a transmitter so you can tune your car radio to receive the signal. Both my sons have them. Andy T.

I have two Beogram CD7000s, one with my white 7000 system I won in the prize draw, and one that I run through my old Beolab 5000 and it's assosiated speakers. The quality of sound I get from the Beovox 5000s and cubes from the CD is absolutely stunning! Andy T.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I would really like to know this for sure. I have now had about 50 or 60 Beo4s of all three kinds, and have yet to see Battery in the display! First person to send a photo' of the above, wins er.... my respect. Andy T.
