• Re: Beomaster 6000 motor belt

Seems like it's a cord, not a belt. This cord is sold by the meter and you have to tie it yourself - I'm pretty certain there never was such a thing as "an original spare part" for those. If you need new cord, I have genuine dial cord available. The service manuals usually just tell the length of the loop you need and the routing for

  • Re: RL6000 cleaning

Good luck, it is quite rewarding! I actually recapped a pair of 60.2s as well this winter, but that thread is pretty much useless since the pictures didn't survive the forum upgrade. Anyway, the thing I learned was not to trust the service manual, the crossovers in mine were quite different in the tweeter network. So open them up first and check

  • Re: RL60 6503

Oh no, don't break them! This thread on my RL6000's should give you an idea what you're up against if you decide to open the speakers. They are mechanically very similar.

  • Re: B&O CEO on CNBC

I believe that's the planned share capital increase, directed to existing shareholders. The extraordinary general meeting a month ago authorized this, with up to 250 million DKK raised in this year.
What you need for your living room is a "Beo-extension" which will allow you to sit an extra 3 metres away
Anybody remember the ancient TV sets that had a magnifying glass in front of the tiny tube? Perhaps there's now a market for reducing lenses

  • Re: Beolink 1000 functionality with a Beomaster 6500

This was one of my first questions on Beoworld, so I know how you feel Yes, BL1000 is enough for tuning and programming the presets. Use GOTO and then key in the frequency to tune into - the display turns to "F", and that's all the feedback you're going to get. You will need to key in the tenths as well, i.e 1040 is 104.0 MHz. Be patient
LOL gosh it makes my head hurt! I did try one of these but that produce a blank screen of doom, so the nearest I can find that you suggest is this ... looks like it has an in out switch too.
Yes, the former of those links is a component video / SCART adapter and not suitable for this task. The latter should be
I don't believe this, am still having fun with my mx7000. I think I should get the dumb beoworlder award I'm trying to connect a Philips DVD player - which only has the three normal plugs out the back (Yellow, Red & White).
You should've mentioned the colours earlier! I guess that means that the

  • Re: The BeoWorld Award Results - Live

I just came in from cooking my spaghetti bolognese and found my name! Incredible - given the quality of the competition on the forum, I never thought I'd make any of these charts! Thanks to all who voted
