Stevo, I suggest that next time it happens you get a multimeter on the AC range and put one lead to mains earth and the other to the metal case of the Beolab 4000's and I am sure you will see a voltage of anywhere between 10 & 40 volts. If so, thats what you are feeling. There are several causes for this problem and there is certainly nothing
-
Stevo, When you talk about "wrong polarisation vibration" Are really talking about static discharge? quick belt or constant belt when touched ? What do you have your BeoLab 4000 connected too? Whilst your mains plug has three pins and your mains socket is earthed, the mains cable which goes into the BeoLab 4000's is two wire only, meaning

Thomas, I am not sure I fully understand your question. You have your PC2/Beoport connected and working on your PC. Do you mean you want the black windows you have on your PC screen on your MX ? On the ML (Masterlink) there is ONLY audio and control signals, no video goes via ML in any setup Keith..

Stevo, You are certainly not dim, these are just the sort of questions which I will provide Lee as part of FAQ for the Beocom in the near future. So to your points:- 1) All the phones follow the DECT protocol meaning they run on the 2.4 GHz frequency, but there is no channels to change and this goes for almost all DECT phones. All the base stations

The BeoCom 6000 certainly works on the 2.4Ghz in the US You certainly need a base for the 6000, you buy one base station and any number of 6000's up to six per base station. However when you buy just a 6000 phone you get a charger wall holder and in the early versions you could also have a desk charger which was actually a wall charger with the

The Earsat 2 has a standby time of 100 hours, talk time of 4 hours and a battery charge time of 3 hours. As you can see the talk time is not great and I do not understand why the typical charge time is 3 hours, but that is what is quoted by B&O Keith..
-
This first phone socket also contains a capacitor which allows the phone to ring I suggest you try both Beocom 6000 base stations in this first socket and see what the results are ? You may have already done this, but you have not mentioned it. Keith..

Phil The MK I and MK II have different supplies, if like me you have both MK I & MK II you will noted that it is not possible to put a MK II phone into a MK I holder because the locating lugs are different. When I talked about a scope I mean an Oscilloscope as below, a multimeter is very unlikely (but not impossible) to show the kind of difference

Stuart, Yes this is a dealer job, they have to download the software update, so its not a chip change. You could check to see what software version you have at present by going into the service menu. Almost all B&O products have some sort of service menu. I think you need to press 9 - # - 9 - # - 9 - * - /// You will get handset software version
-
Stuart, Well actually, the problem may not be the battery. In the earlier versions apparantly there was an intermittent fault in the software that measures the battery capacity. The software believes the charge is lower than it actually is. A new software version was implemented in December 2003 to take it to version 1.7 which solved the problem. This
