Yes, the carriage servo should be audible when moving in << or >> mode

My newly lubricated 4000 does small ticking noises sometimes, a little more frequent than my two Beogram 4002's. I think that it is pretty normal. When lowered, the arm should move in accordance to the record to track the groove. Imagine if the arm wouldn't move with the horizontal movements of a slightly off-centered groove, That will almost

I am a happy user of Form 1's for my Walkman and home listening. They are good for most styles, though not bass heavy. I like them very much when I am mixing on my band's recorded music as they represent a very natural sound picture compared to any speaker, even my MS150.2's.

Ahh, forgot about the lack of Datalink on the TX2... If you like the looks of the TX2/7000 you should go for a Beogram 5005 or 5500, the difference between the two is only the model and type number! They are not as desirable as the 7000, hence a much lower price tag. You could also have a look at the, in my opinion, far superior Beogram 8000-series

Very tempting... This kit is obviously very rare, could really use a remote for my CD50 used with the Beosystem 8000. I could just repair my Beomaster 5500 and use the MCP or Beolink 1000 as remote for it with the pre amp output to the Tape 2 input of the Beomaster 8000...

Is it even possible to source the strobe bulb anymore? I am very interrested if it is!
