  • Re: beousound 3200 setup

Hi and welcome to BeoWorld. All main B&O products are shipped with a 4 digit pin code. If the unit is disconnected from the mains for more than 30 minutes, the pin code locks the product when you switch it back on. Normally when you re-connect the mains supply and switch on, you will be prompted for the pin. If you are being told to "wait"

  • Re: Lip sync problem or re-writing physics!?

Hi Dave I came across this problem a few years ago in a showroom. Sky digital was playing through a plasma in the home demonstration room. The audio from the Sky broadcast was also playing in the showroom through a BeoLab3500. If you stood in the doorway to the home dem room you could hear that the audio in from the Lab3500 was out of synch with the

  • Re: Dirt cheap DVD2s?

My guess is that most dealers will have an ex display model that they will be glad to see the back of. Why not just call/email any dealers in your area and make a silly offer. you may just strikw lucky Opman

  • Re: Speakers ports Beocenter 9500

Hello The extra pins in the speaker 2 sockets are to run the old Master Control Link (MCL) system. This pre-dates the current Mastr Link (ML) system. You may be able to pick up an "Xtra speaker kit" from somewhere and add some speakers to another room. In order to do this, you will need to resolve your issue with the Speaker 1 socket. Opman

  • Re: Start of a compatibility matrix for beocom handsets versus base stations

A huge undertaking for what should be a straight forward job. Difficult to think how to to simply add part numbers when each version of handset is/was available in a choice of colour and therefore unique part number. Just a thought, in addition to software compatability, you will need to factor in which BeoCom6000 handsets work with which chargers.

  • Re: How to deactivate front speakers?

I think that you will find it is not possible to configure rear speakers without front speakers in the set up menu of the Avant. It has to have speakers set as front to allow you to set rear speakers. You can "fool" the Avant by plugging the PL cables into the front sockets, configuring them on screen, then unplugging them and plugging them

  • Re: Beosound 4 transit damage!

Hi Peter It's a shame to hear about your transit damage. I'm not an expert on the retaining brackets for the glass door. I'm sure somebody can come to your rescue on that one. The plastic foot is available as a spare part (3151913 wire guide) and is held in place by two screws (2019035). Don't be tempted to glue the foot back on as it

  • Re: TV LX2500 and Freeview box

Hello The BeoVisionLX2500 television is to old to accept a Set Top Box controller to enable operation of the Freeview box via your B&O remote control. Consequently the choice of box is not limited to one that the B&O software supports. I have had very good reports of the Topfield PVR5800. This is a twin tuner Freeview box with integrated Hard

  • Re: beocom 1600

I vaugley recall that there are two small switches on the back of the BeroCom1600, they are underneath the flap. maybe one of those has been inadvertently moved. Opman

  • Re: Beolab 2000 vs Beolab 3500

Another useful nugget of information is that BeoLab2000 can be activated by the volume control on BeoCom6000. If the speaker is in standby mode and you turn the volume wheel on a BeoCom6000 handset, the BeoLab2000 switches the Master on to the last thing it was doing. As far as I know, the BeoLab3500 doesn't do this. Given where you say it is being
