  • Re: New in-wall speakers for bathromm

beoben: @ qium43: Thank you for your experience! Nice photos @ keith: as we do a complete restoration we could use the "boxes" your are talking about. Do we realy need them? What is the advanatage? You are welcome. Boxes are 70 euros, more or less, each one. You will have better sound, I bet.

Keith Saunders: For your information the following are the details of the B&O "in wall/ceiling" acoustic cabinet These boxes are created for a new installation in a new ceiling, I guess. I can't see the way how to introduce them in my ceiling, only with the holes I made for the speakers.

I understand now, thanks. I think it's called Acoustic Box (literal translation from spanish). No, they are not fitted in my ceiling, and sound is good enough.

beoaus: Were the backboxes fitted? Thanks Beoaus Not sure if I understand the question. I made the hole in the ceiling to fit the speaker.

I finished the installation yesterday. One Beovox 1 in each bathroom, so, no stereo is available (I use them to hear the radio, news or magazines in the morning, when I wake up). This morning, speakers turned on with the timer function. I have to say the sound is totally clear, perfect to use like I want to use them. I am very satisfied with them BTW

  • Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

I have a Tvix 4100 connected to my BV7 Mk3 via HDMI. I have also a Sat Decoder connected via scart. Two weeks with the new SW 4.24a and still no crashes. As I said before in this thread, I think the problem is the way how the TV was updated, automatically or manually.

I bought a pair of Beovox 1 this week and I am installing them in the bathrooms. Wait some days, and I will tell you how they sound.

  • Re: Beo5 - where are we?

Weebyx: Ok, that probably means that all the 3'rd party products in the PUC table will be available to control without the PUC controller, but directly via Beo5, great news, but there is no PUC table for my Denon DVD player :( So it would bee cool to add it myself :) /Weebyx What model is your Denon DVD Player? I can look in the database.

  • Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

I created my own PUC and installed it. I updated my BV7-40 Mk3 to the 4.24a version. No white flashes anymore viewing movies at 1080p. I have to test if 24 fps is supported. I think the issues come because of automatic updates. Is better to update the TV manually, unplugging it for 45 seconds after every update.
