• Re: Using the Apple TV with no TV, just with the iPhone (remote) and A.AUX

I agree that with photos & video things would fill up, BUT I thought your original query was about listening to music via your ouverture. I appreciate that you are looking to the future, but in that case and if you envisage viewing your media, I would have thought you should be going down the route of connecting to a TV. It all depends on your needs

Firstly, forgot to mention that you will need to have a screen available to setup the ATV initially. As for your specific question, how much music have you got?? Do you mean that you want to stream music from your WDWE drive to the ATV? My depth of knowledge about separate drives is not sufficient to answer that I'm afraid. But if you are using

  • Re: Beovision 3 - does scart lead affect picture format ?
Check the scart control is set to 'on' in the Sky box (services>picture settings). This activates pin 8. David
I have it switched on David thanks. Must be the case that my scart lead's pin 8 isn't wired. Time for further investigation I think! Thanks again to all for the help.

I've been doing this for the past couple of years, controlling with my Touch with the remote app. Only disadvantage really has been updates, when I then have to connect to a TV to navigate the menu to install the update. On one occasion I thought my ATV had developed a fault as it wouldn't respond at all. When I plugged it in to the TV it was

  • Re: Loewe expands retail outlets

No, No, No Flappo, my car analogy was NOT meant to be taken as an endorsement or comment on the quality or otherwise of any particular make of car, so the introduction of your AUDI comparison misses my point entirely! I was just making the observation that Leowe are apparently opening more retail outlets whilst, according to reports on this forum, B&O

  • Re: Beovision 3 - does scart lead affect picture format ?

Thanks to you both. The manual says "FORMAT 3 will usually be selected automatically, if this is not the case you can select it yourself". My source is a Sky digibox set to 16:9. I know I can set it myself, but am confused by the word "usually" above. Either it will or it won't I would have thought, unless it is suggesting the

  • Beovision 3 - does scart lead affect picture format ?

My Beovision 3 always defaults to picture format 1 after switch off and switch on again. I think I recall mention on this forum that the scart lead can in some way contribute to this, as it may not be auto-adjusting the input signal. Does this mean my lead may not be fully wired and therefore not enabling this 'auto' function? Of course I can

  • Re: The BeoWorld Christmas Party!

Fabulous ideas Elephant! You've missed out the International Space Station though. Or do you think that would be a little over the top?
couldn't agree more if i couldn't justify buying a bno i'd buy a pioneer or sony loewe are imo pretty mediocre at best and the user interface reminds me of klingon , terrible UI and terrible remotes
Whilst I may agree with you (and others) about the products, the point of my posting was

  • Loewe expands retail outlets

According to Loewe, they will open six more Galerie retail stores in the UK this autumn. They'll be located in Chichester, Kensington, the Lake District, Manchester, Sheffield and Southampton. This will bring the total number of Loewe Galeries worldwide to 250 by the end of 2009. The Kensington Galerie in London joins Loewe's other London Galeries
