I havent worn a shirt since school, apart from weddings and funerals that is. Dont ask me why but I just hate anything with collars. I dont even own polo shirts or rugby shirts. T shirts only for me.

Very nice indeed! If I could find one like that I would jump at the chance to have it. Its amazing how something can look "retro" and futuristic at the same time.

I was listening to Suzanne Vega on my CDX last night and a couple of things struck me. Firstly I wondered if the CDX was the first CD player that has the CD visibly on display like a record. After one or two more alcoholic drinks I was thinking just how much like a vinyl beogram the CDX looks. I got an LP and placed it on the CDX lid and sure enough

The one bit of equipment that I will never change in my set up is my CDX. It sounds better than any other B&O cd player (imo) and I like its quirky opening and closing. Its only problem is the lack of remote control. I did get a cd50 with the remote controller and thought that might relegate the CDX but it just didnt sound any where near as nice

I just got a Beogram 4000 from a car boot sale. It had been unused for a while so I was expecting a few teething troubles. When I plugged it in I got a whirring noise which on opening it up was the expected belt slippage on the tone arm moving mechanism. Fine I thought, I can fix that with a new belt. But now the motor doesnt spin at all. It seems to

I have a pair of MC120.2's too and find them wonderful speakers. Obviously the incorrect woofers will be doing you no favours. Either refoam the originals (not too difficult) or you can buy new peerless drivers for them (800667 or something similar - have a search on here for the correct peerless number). I would recommend changing the capacitors

I would love to learn about electronic repairs but am unsure about how to go about it. Does anyone have any advice.
