Razlaw: Puncher: Razlaw: Just got a new home theater magazine. In it is an article on the latest and greates Panasonic 65inch plasma. Price $9995.00 Thus a BV4 65 inch is only 35% more. Your apples too seem very orange-like! 65" Panasonic D10 professional panel (web price) £4500 - £5000, BV4 65" (panel only) £11500. We'll

Hi Daniel, Didn't mean to imply that it might be illegal to listen to TV in Mono, only that it might be illegal to sell one that size without Stereo speakers...as to folks being 'told' what to do, we did just elect a Democrat to the White House, we'll see. ;-) You make 2 fine points, and in the case of your first point, the BV-9 makes

Dave: RussR: Well Trip that's all well and good, and well reasoned... but let's admit that the BV-9 is somewhat akin (given the season) to Tiny Tim, and God Bess 'im the sooner he's put down the better. The BV-7 has already killed off the BV-4 37" & 42", I think it's up for one more fight. Yeah right! BV9 won't

Yes, you can extract it. Just be patient while you're doing so.

Have just seen 5.02 on a BV-7/US. All menus are black background. I love it!!

kokomo: You may well be correct with your math(s), but I can assure you 65" TVs are not what your 'normal' consumer is in the market for, at least in Europe so the comparison, whilst it may be accurate, is somewhat irrelevant. Have you noticed a recession? Maybe even a depression? Ford, Chrysler & GM are virtually bankrupt. OK so B&O

sorenfelden: I agree a two-way remote is absolute needed for those of us who are too lazy to get out of the couch to control the BS5. However, there may be some consolation in the fact that, presumably, the BM5 can be controlled via an on-screen menu on your TV screen (like Beomedia 1) with a Beo5 remote control? Has anybody seen the user interface

A couple of issues come to mind.... 1) The radio may not work properly. FM (assuming that AUS uses the same specs as EU) will be OK, but not perfect as the frequencies overlap, but not completely. AM likely not at all. 2) The DVD section will not play DVD's purchased here. Rather than have 220v run to the location why not look into the possibility

I think its both better and worse that Steve implies here.... I'm inclined to think that you won't need the synch cable between the BL-5's, as you intend to keep the BS-9000 in the system, the BL-5's will track the volume data set on the PowerLink Cables. The kicker is that the BL-5's ought to only 'look' for the digital
