Peter : Beogram 3000 Thorens with 12" ST/P arm. Frede is restoring my 5000 system at present and the turntable has just been finished! I had it working as a 9" model previously and the sound was superb - the bass is much more solid and believable than any other Beogram. I can believe that. I used to have a "skeleton" TD160MKII, and

Hi Eugenio Yes, no problem :) (I feel like I am working too much too )

Ciao Eugenio Thanks for that information. I'll fix it. If you remember, we started talking about hinges for this unit on YouTube, and now we meet again on BeoWorld. I'll soon know how many I need. I used to have one that I bought in a similar state last year and fixed it up ok, so I thought it was worth the risk. My last one had a broken cassette deck, but this one is fine. Heartbreakingly

beocool: rayfenwick: Well, I don't suppose this was too bad for £80... I plugged it in, and it works fine. A bit of glue, and some paint on the underside of the glass to repair small scratches, and it'll be perfectly acceptable until I find some better panels - really! (Sits back grinning smugly, and can't stop giggling.....) Look
