First, it is my understanding that the Beosound 5 needs to have Audio Master set to on. Second, my experience has been it is also necessary to have Music Server set to on, or yes, I forget which it is right now. Third, an app needs to be installed on the iPad. My dealer has told me that B and O recommends Twonky. I could not get it to work at all on
-
I tried Twonky on iPad and was able to get it to work. Interestingly it will turn the entire system on or switch it from TV to music when a track is selected.

Dealer tells me Twonky is recommended by B and O but I am unable to get it to work. It connects but when song is selected it says it can not start playing it. I have had success with 8player but much of the cover art does not work.

I have been able to connect and control the Beosound 5 with both an iPhone and an iPad although much of the cover art does not work.

Had the 5s in my home today. I will be staying with my current 9s. The 5s sound different, but I like the 9s just as well, or perhaps better. Dealer also brought a Beolab 2 to try with my Beolab 1s. That made a huge difference and I will be considering one of those.

Beolab 5s coming to my house for an in home demo. Also a Beolab 2 to try with my Beolab 1s in another room. Am very eager to see how the 5s sound compared to my Beolab 9s.
-
That would be great if they do it.
-
Wouldn't it take two Beotimes? one for the 10 and one for the 7 in the other room?
-
No, I have neither. But, you have me intrigued. How would those two items be used to make it work?
