Flappo The Grate: thing is , it's only 1920 x 1080 res , so at 103" it probably looks pretty awful why bother ? The screen also judders like mad when playing blue ray. Saw this in operation and it was not good. Quite why anyone would want it in prefernce to an HD projector I dont know!

TerryM: Various views have been expressed in recent threads as to the nature of,solutions to,the problems facing B & O. It has been stated, although I do not know on what basis, that the Company reads the respective forums, but a cynic might suggest that views are being expressed by "the usual suspects". Hence my question. Alternative to

beolife: I have read this thread with interest but I feel I now must comment, I too am very disappointed by some of the personal attacks on Trip English by other forum members. I feel that these attacks will only harm the forum as others will view this site as being petty & petulant at the merest disagreement, I was under the impression that this

TripEnglish: Yes, Bang & Olufsen is addressing organization at the retail level to increase the consistency of the customer experience. All in all it is a net positive, though, as retailers have a greater "toolbox" with which to service customers. No worries. Oh! very interesting! but not factual im afraid!

ed7: question was asked a couple of years back in the old forum whether b&o can survive the digital age !what do you think now??? Of course they will survive but ina different way to as we now know the company. Lets say a changed ethos! comming to a sotre near you in 8-12 months!

TripEnglish: 355f, The whole world is in a bit of peril (in case you haven't looked into the real world ) So falling profit projections are pretty much universal in fiscal 2008. Whether or not we'll run a loss, I don't think we really know that yet. I have a few new screens on pre-order and the rest of our video business is also up. In general

TripEnglish: Guys, remember, we're on a forum. I would imagine that we're all here because we like a little debate. As for my comments, if I've offended you, I apologize, but I won't back down from my core assertion one bit, that Bang & Olufsen clients' values are not generally reflected on these boards, no matter how interesting
-
TripEnglish: It's sometimes odd to me to contrast the opinions of those who frequent this board with my clients. The views could not be more diametrically opposed! I suppose the one factor we need to look at is the general makeup of people who frequent web boards. I don't mean to inflict harm on anyone's pride, but you are not our target

TripEnglish: 355f, What can I say? If you have to rip the aluminum frame off of my television to conduct a comparison, haven't I already won? It seems that most people's arguments against any of our products are thinly veiled gripes that they're financially out of reach. Otherwise, what's the point in wallowing in how much you hate them
-
TripEnglish: I think it really depends. As a retailer, I'd rip my hair out with frustration if I took the position that everyone requires the total multi-disciplinary perfection of a Bang & Olufsen television system. The plain truth is that some people can live with Samsonite, some need at least Tumi, and some like Louis Vuitton or Goyard. The
