100% agree with soundproof, I would prefer a setup without a BS3 "in the way" for CD stereo because I don't know what processing the Bs3 does to the incomming signal before it ends at the lab5. Even if you have both, as soundproof has described, no problem at all. Just connect the BS9000 with masterlink to the BS3, the lab5 with powerlink

To be honest - I don't know excactly....but I have roughly 400 Euros in mind. The one I will get is unused (no batteries were ever loaded) but was on display some where in the shop. Karsten

Hi there, is there any update on that issue? I would like to update my Bs3 but not surebecause I don't want to loose the RS232 control of my Panasonic plasma. Karsten

Top on my list is the new Beomaster/sound (what ever....) 5! And, if it might hit the shops any time (or if ever..) a BC2 with Blueray support. That would be a bummer! I am happy with the rest I have, proud owner of a BV3, BV1 in the bedroom, a BS3 with a Panasonic screen and lab5, BS9000 with lab 3 in the kitchen, a lab2000 for the bathroom.... Karsten

As one of the lucky members I was up in Struer for the factory tour. Some process steps of manufacturing (asembling)a TV set (BV7) looked very strange to me, but on the other hand the productin of the alu parts was very advanced and could only be done with extensive know how. I understood that alu is one of the B&O's key cempetences. I doubt

The question would be how the BS3 recognizes the Panasonic Panel as BV4 instead of a TH-50 something. The DVI ID tells the connected System what type, name, resoltion etc it is. For my understanding this is done by the DVI module (e.g.the name/type number of the module is shown and not the display if you check this in the service menu). So would a B&O

As far as I know one of the differences could be the caller ID. This might not work as it is slightky differnt from country to country. I don't know the details but that I heard before. Karsten
