If you want one and you want a good one the this is the one. The seller has an excellent reputation and gives a warranty. Like all antiques, if you want the best, you have limited options. Either pay or be very lucky. As stated previously, they don't make 'em any more!

barrie911 on ebay tells me that he does replacement panels for Beovox 3000/4500/5000 which are made from the same type of stainless as original and he has also sourced transfers in the correct type face. I have not seen them! Perhaps one of you should contact him, it may save you time and money.

I use a used Farnell DTV20 that I bought on ebay for £40 and a Tenma audio generator that cost less than £10. I decided that this was more convenient than using the computer, as that is in pretty much permanent use on other tasks.

It's a combined 2300/2500 manual if I recall and the Ouverture, 3000 and 3200 have exactly the same construction and rubber band and those manuals are on the site for sure.

You will get more idea of how to get the back off, as well as the part number of the rubber band, from the Service Manual on this site. All the manuals are available to Silver and Gold members which will cost £15 or £30 respectively.

Be aware that the output from MMC cartridges is about half of that from most conventional moving magnet designs. The end result is that to achieve the same amount of sound from the speakers requires the volume on the Beomaster to be turned well up. All well and good but I find that the hum generated from mains powered low cost pre amps is unacceptable
