Most of that weekend was spent knocking off any other loose plaster and 'PVA'ing the walls and ceiling. (This is done with a watered down PVA glue which plasterers use so that the actual plaster sticks to the wall, mainly where they are plastering over already plastered/painted walls). Obviously plasterboard was to be fixed over this, and the last thing i wanted to do was screw through any cables, so before fixing plasterboard, i took measurements of where my batons were and wrote these on the walls i had taken the measurement from.

A few days after this the electrician turned up to do all the sockets, light switch and phone points, unfortunately i was so busy helping him, i didnt get any photos of the electrics going in (i had already done all the chasing out and fixing of the back boxes).
