No, you can't. The last SW updates for the BV3 mkIII (v15.1 to v15-3) introduced stuff like audio/video/standby stand options and the ability to set SPEAKER X for audio and video sources. But nothing regarding format. Roger

Hmmm, did you use the "auto install" feature when updating? I would do the H8 manually and try the rest when this is successfull - if you still struggle the recommendation is to unplug and wait for 45 sec after each module before moving on to the next one. Roger

I agree, after upgrading to 5.00 there have been zero crashes at this end. But I saw that the service tool, by default, tried to upload 4.24a - and that you had to hit the pulldown button to see and select the 5.00 version. I would give the dealer a ring and verify that you actually have 5.00 installed. Not too sure if they have sorted out all the HDCP

While the average BeoWorlder can work around this (access the service

I would strongly recommend using a 2nd hand HDR-1 as the STB-C - this product can be updated via the service tool (a simple plug and play job) to cover new and coming boxes. And you can get an HDR-1 for a very good price these days as they are very difficult to sell (same goes for the HDR-2). And, yes, the mkII 3320-3339 can be used with the STB-C
