The Beosound 1 white panel is different - that is simply painted - easier to scratch but easier to fix!

The Wednesday thread runs on a test server so that explains the discrepancy there. There have been some issues with the profile panel - best to write to Lee or Keith about that one.

I have used them with a 7000 system and MS150s work fine. They are however very big and I don't think even their mother would call them pretty!

The best will clearly be a dedicated external aerial. It does however depend very much on your situation and signal strength. If in a good signal area, almost anything will do!

I would get a pair of Pentas. I used a pair with my 7000 system for years and was very happy with them. They go loud, have plenty of bass and match the system. If being critical, they lack a bit of top end fizz and the bass is not as detailed as speakers with a big bass driver. Still have the Pentas though !

From what I (as an electronic idiot) understand, the 4400 is actually quite distinct from the 4000 and its forebears. Sounds like you have a fault. Only one channel is working. Speaker 1 and 2 are essentially connected together though you can only mute speaker 1.
