Panerai 244, but only once i have my Beovision 7-40 with a pair of Beolab 5's looking at me. In the meantime i have MWC G10 with Tritium illumination. Simple, reliable and the Tritium gives amazing clarity at night.

Just slightly off topic. If you had £4,000(ish) to spend, would you buy a new 8-40(or the new one coming soon) or the 7-40 mk 2. I love watching TV in HD but love the whole presence of the 7 series aswell. Has anyone an opinion on 720 HD compared to 1080p, as this will be the main obvious technical difference between the 2. Good to see that B&O have now dropped the price from £895 i was just quoted in the UK, to £640.35 that it is advertised as, on the Apple store in the US

Now we have decided to buy a Beovision 8, as silly as it sounds we will choose our store carefully And after a bit of fiddling i have changed my mind, it does work.

I tried this today with mine being modified and my wifes not, i have to say after chopping and changing between the two pairs and listening to the same music track, i couldn't hear the difference. On a different note, we were charged £2.50 for some replacement foam covers today

Sigmund i have wondered about this for a few years and recently had a discussion with a local dealer about. After comparing it to the 10-40, i eventually had to agree with the dealer that the colours were more natural on the CFL 7-40.
