Hi, I have a Beolink 5000 from 1994 and still have the original box and packaging. I also have a Beo4 with its own packaging. I can confirm that the boxes are different - they are of a different design and colour. The opening method of the two are different - the Beo4 box having a 'sliding' type of method, the 5000 box having the more conventional

Hi Raeuber, My Avant is old & not worth spending any money on it to be honest. Probably not worth £100 now! So, i'll probably swap it for a Beovision 5 before too long anyway. If I wanted to stick with an Avant I would swap it for a late model RF 32" DVD version, rather than messing about with an old 28" VHS. Regards.

I would like to connect a DVD player, whilst at the same time keeping both the set-top box and the vcr connection. The only available Scart socket remaining

Hello All, I've just received a pair of Form 1 headphones I got off ebay. Upon plugging them into the front socket on my Beomaster 6500 I was immediately disappointed - when the jack is pushed in fully only the right channel works. It also doesnt mute my Penta's. I notice however, that when the jack is held in only half way, both channels work

A super & comprehensive answer Stefan - many thanks for that. Regards, Michael
