My Beo4 started playing up, it would just go blank. If you gave it a shake it would come back to life. My dealer said it had had something spilt inside it. (Not by me). They let me borrow one which was the latest version. Never got it fixed as I purchased the one the lent me from them for £75. Now use it in the Bedroom. Think I will try and clean

Had the same problem with my BS3000. Wanted to connect my PC and a Turntable. Got a B&O CD-TAPE adaptor , works perfectly. Craig

Mr. Friend: The Sleep timer is only on Radio, that is the main cofussion. :-) By Sleep timer you mean where it plays for X amount of time before turning off. Craig

pf85: Craig, good news. The alarm function also works with the SD card. 1) Select A.Mem and the title you would like to hear while waking up 2) Stand By 3) Timer / select Alarm time 4) Store 5) now you can even continue to listen to Radio and turn off... Beosound 3 will then start up in the morning with your song selected from the lovely SD card. regards

B&O keep spares for 10 years after a product has finished. Not sure about your remote problem. What remote does the TV have? Is it a BL1000 or one of the non B&O remotes you can

What disappointed me is that the alarm function only works on the radio. Not the SD card. Sound is very good though, given the size of it. Craig

Had a Beogram 1200 for a while, thought the 1203 was almost identical. Obviously not. Craig

As Peter has already said. Go with a new Soundsmith cartridge if you can. Even new old stock ones that come up on Ebay can be faulty. Even though theu have not been used the suspension can harden up in them and they won't work. Craig
