I used a Beogram 6000 with my Beosystem 6500 for a long time before I found a matching BG6500, and I was very happy with it (still am, it is connected to tape 2 now... ). There's a switch for turning the CD4 decoder off, but it isn't really needed since the decoder will play in regular stereo anyway when it cannot detect the CD4 carrier from
I have just counted and there are 64 CDs. I had about 100 more before but I copied them to iTunes then sold them on Amazon a couple of years ago so I could still get something back before CDs become redundant to the digital world.
You do realize that's very naughty if you ask the relevant organizations
Bad idea then?
If the delivery includes two weightlifters to wrestle it up the stairs to 4th floor, I'm all for it! (except that it's not a problem since I never win anything anyway.) But won't it be a little difficult in practice, since TVs are quite a bit more localized than audio products? Power

The trading of subscription rights ended yesterday, so they are not visible anymore and we can take a look at on how this is going. At this time, the old stock is traded at 41.40 and new stock at 39.60. Therefore, if you used all your subscription rights, you would have now 41.40 + 2 * 39.60 = 120.60 DKK worth of shares. Before this event, you had a

Well, the offer was for a Beovox 1001, not a pair! That'll teach me to read twice... anyway, it sounded and looked good; if it had been a pair, I would've still paid double the asking price and got them. The Beolit 1000 I actually went to pick up will be really nice after I clean it though
-
Thanks for the comments. The asking price is quite low so I'll probably get them if they are externally nice - I have a use for something flatter than my Beovox 2200's, which are so deep that they look silly wall mounted...

Photos will lie a lot, as will your monitor and its settings. For what it's worth, my blue 1600 has lighter keypad backing and the backside of the handset - maybe you could call them navy blue. The rest of the body is very dark blue, and the business side of the handset is light grey. And no metal plate on the body.
-
Anybody have any insight whether the Beovox 1001 is a worthwhile speaker? I have an option of getting a pair (haven't seen them yet) but I couldn't really find any practical information on them other than the short bit on Beocentral. These would probably be paired with my Beomaster 900M.

I see, thanks for clearing that up
