• Re: Beo Master 7000

Great, just when this thread had cooled down I now have time to post I did this modification (removed the four caps) on my Beomaster 6500 some months ago (as I posted, and got away with surprisingly little general interest). I find the above commentary from a B&O tech ("no influence on sound") a little odd, since even me with my wooden

  • Re: Can I use my BL8000s & 6000s with a non B&O stereo?
I inherited 2 Beolab 6000's, but the soundsystem itself doesn't work any more.. What about connecting them directly to the RCA out of an LCD TV ? (Philips 42PF7621D/10; if it is of any importance, it has 2 x 15 Watt RMS.. whatever that means )
The problem with the RCA out (and audio output pins in the SCARTs

  • Re: Beo 5 two-...
Now: How to determine Beo 5 MK 1 and MK 2?
How could anyone know when we don't even know whether there is a Mk.2 or not? Please people, try to differentiate facts from something that somebody made up after reading a fact somebody else made up after reading an alleged fact... Coming up next: people start asking

  • Re: restoring an old beogram 1203
Great minds Mika, only I gave him the fish, but you showed him how to fish!
You apparently know the old saying "...but teach a man to fish and he will sit all day in a boat drinking beer"

You have to go to the main site first, then products, and see the link at the bottom of this page . Good luck with your Beogram and welcome to the forums

  • Re: Discontinued Philips IC's needed.

Great! I was a bit worried that there might be something else regarding the firmware versions than just the suffix of the chip, but now we know! My pleasure The only bad part is that this source for replacements is now dry as well...

  • Re: Updates
Tricky dilemma. As a dealer, you'd rather sell a brand new BV7-40, ordered from B&O, rather than sell a cheap second-hand version from stock. The reason why I say it's the 'other way around' is that I don't think my or many other dealers care too much if we do not bother trading in our old TVs

  • Re: Does vintage B&O sound better?
It certainly is stunning, but am I missing something here? Where are the pickup/sensor arms?
Haha! I guess John used a 2-5 second exposure time and just clicked on "start" before releasing the shutter... so the carriage moved forth and back and disappeared from the image. And I never noticed! The
I'll tell you what looks the business:
Sure does Funny - that must be the first picture ever I see of BM6000 quad with the lights on!
