Great, just when this thread had cooled down I now have time to post I did this modification (removed the four caps) on my Beomaster 6500 some months ago (as I posted, and got away with surprisingly little general interest). I find the above commentary from a B&O tech ("no influence on sound") a little odd, since even me with my wooden
I inherited 2 Beolab 6000's, but the soundsystem itself doesn't work any more.. What about connecting them directly to the RCA out of an LCD TV ? (Philips 42PF7621D/10; if it is of any importance, it has 2 x 15 Watt RMS.. whatever that means )
The problem with the RCA out (and audio output pins in the SCARTs
Tricky dilemma. As a dealer, you'd rather sell a brand new BV7-40, ordered from B&O, rather than sell a cheap second-hand version from stock. The reason why I say it's the 'other way around' is that I don't think my or many other dealers care too much if we do not bother trading in our old TVs
It certainly is stunning, but am I missing something here? Where are the pickup/sensor arms?
Haha! I guess John used a 2-5 second exposure time and just clicked on "start" before releasing the shutter... so the carriage moved forth and back and disappeared from the image. And I never noticed! The
I'll tell you what looks the business:
Sure does Funny - that must be the first picture ever I see of BM6000 quad with the lights on!
