It looks bigger than I was expecting!!

Yeah right! - They use the basically the same bus structure (pcie), the same processor hardware, same harddrives etc and can run the same operating system with a modicum of effort - how different can they really be?? Regarding Apple making more of their own hardware - this is the crux of Apple's famed reliability - open up the system to all manufacturers

In light of other posts it would be interesting to hear the M100's from the 5500 and the 5000 to see if the 5000 is genuinely a better amp (I'm biased as I've had the 5000 from new and love it to bits albeit only ever through RL60's)..

Peter: I thought they had targetted the Carling Cup as no-one else wanted to win it! Sshh! That was before we drew Arsenal boys - I'm playing the "concentrating on the Leagure" card!

Peter: I forgot - it's Wednesday! I thought you would be too depressed after last night! Not to bothered as its only the Carling Cup. I was at the temple on Sunday when we won 3-1 (not sure how though - we didn't seem that good)

If you aren't going to want to use .aac as your native format then I would download from online stores other than iTunes as it seems crazy to download and then convert to mp3, suffering a loss in quality in the process.

Is this true? Is the change from aac to mp3 lossless or does it involve re-encoding in which case the quality of the material will suffer?
