What type number is your deck ? (53xx or 55xx) Make sure you have all connectors on correctly, they will easily mount 1 pin off. Check also the soldering of the edge connectors, they are often found cracked. Martin

Martin

There's no stick in these machines but flip up to vertical and pull a couple of cm's away from the bottom part and it will stand by itself. Martin

It's a DC servo motor and the system is pretty much self-balanced so I wouldn't be afraid to try. But are you sure that the problem is the motor ? Martin

Hi and welcome to Beoworld ! Sorry for asking but I just have to. You did losen the transport safety screws, right ? Martin

Yes, definitely 60's Martin

To increase the geekness factor, there were two different versions of Beovox 3702. Type 6263 had a somewhat larger cone midrange that (almost) fitted the cutout. Type 6244 had the Goodmans ACE midrange (in most of them at least). Not the worst sounding speakers BTW. Martin

tournedos: Probably this was a rare, small batch of speakers where the midranges were too small for their mounting holes, and therefore the model number was adjusted Rare indeed but regarding the midrange mounting, however odd it looks, the Beovox 3702 were produced like this in large numbers. Martin

I never saw these before. The midrange and tweeter looks like 3702 in the Goodmans "ACE" version. The woofer looks different though, more like a Beovox 1200 or maybe slightly bigger. Martin

Well done indeed ! Martin
