Yes, I think so - that is what the AV button is for. With TV on, press AV and the CD button. Having two radios will confuse things a bit mind you!
-
Yes, it would be perfectly easy to do this.
-
Thought it sounded too easy! Not convinced that it will work in Option 6. Don't think it will like N.Music either but will be interested to find out what it does!
-
Rather late I found some pictures of mine! From the outside. And one from the other side. I think they are possibly more like the originals and not quite so long throw.

You need a converter to change MCL into ML and it depends which AV9000 you have - the early ones need a special converter. The 5500 would still be the audio master and the AV9000 would be the video master - I take it you don't have the MCP9000? As far as options are concerned, it depends on how you have the system placed. 1 for both or 2 and 0.

I agree - the Beolab 3500 still has a display though. It is a reasonable alternative to two way communication. It does require fully wired Powerlink though.

I have seen this done but it alters the way the material behaves so can be seen as an economy solution. Far better replace the material properly.
-
You might want to think about the capacitor alteration on the Beomaster which livens up the sound. Have a look at the workshop notes on Beocentral.

Or bend the spring up a little!

If anyone is interested, I know Lee has a pair - probably available very cheap! I saw them this week along with some S30s. The reason that they may have been mistaken for 3 way speakers is that they use the same baffle as S45s which has three cut outs!
