jay: in the last couple of years ive owned a few tvs as ive slowly been able to afford the next model up, i had the mx4000 with some cx100s which was at the time better than any hi-fi id ever owned, i cant remember the mx5000 so im guessing was nothing new by then, the mx7000 actice speakers blew me away and to this day i wish id kept it av9000 pretty

Which sound better than others, but I cannot remeber a thread where members have discussed the sound difference of different B&O TV's. When I started riping all my CD's to my PC, I did a back to back test of a track at 128mbps and the original CD. Both played through my Beocenter9000. There was a slight difference. Now as most others seem to do, I use mp3's for background listening. CD's and Vinyl for more serious listening. Craig

9 LEE: Can i just add what a fantastic job Peter is doing on the manuals. Without even being asked he went out and bought an A3 scanner so he could upload the rarer and larger user and service manuals for us all. He is spending a lot of time doing this, and i am sure we all appreciate the fact that he is making BeoWorld even better behind the scenes

SiliconTi: No, it does not come with a remote, though the BL 1000 for my BS 2500 will work. I would love to have a BL 5000, but they are very expensive in the US. Do you mean second hand? They are still available to order from your dealer. Think the U.K. cost was about £235. Glad you got the 9500. Truly the best of the range. Craig
