The 6000 seems a bit more delicate than the 4400. These are not that tricky to take apart so armed with some equipment, they are fixable. Martin does capacitor kits.

I would suggest having a look at the cross over in the S80s. I dare say some replacing of capacitors could be in order. B&O speakers should offer a reasonably flat response - the amplifiers certainly do. I attach the responses of my MS150s as measured professionally. The best amplifier depends really on what you want. It depends what you mean by integrate - it will share the phonebook but that is all. It cannot be used as an extra DECT phone. The base will communicate with the Beoline to exchange phonebooks. I didn't find it that useful!

One can have many happy and outrageous debates about the sound of speakers. However some people will prefer one over another. In the great speaker demo in Newcastle, the Beolab Penta and Beolab 5000 were both liked but both scored below the newer Beolan 5 and 9. On the night, the Penta was preferred by a margin for its sound and the 5000 for its looks

The problem you have here is that the Blu-ray player will be multi-channel and the BS4 is stereo only. You can attach a line level output on the Blu-ray player to the Aux In on the BS4. It rather depends on your Blu-ray player as to the outputs available.
