  • Re: B&O TV Why?

well now that there has been some back-pedaling as seems to always be the case... i think we all should re-read lee's post (#4) on the first page of this thread. in my opinion, it sums this entire thread up perfectly. i think the fundamental issue (discounting all that has been discussed: money / technology / features / design, etc...) is that b&o

TripEnglish: If you don't see a difference, god bless! Move along. We are for the privailaged 2-3% of the world population that worked hard AND made money, AND developed taste. Plenty of people, as has been noted in many people's arguments, are rich enough to buy our products, very few have the faintest notion as to how to live well. We want

  • Re: B&O TV Why?

well, this has been an on again-off again hot topic that i don't think i ever commented on. but, there are some good points here. i bought a panasonic 42 for $949 usd. as someone mentioned... i could buy multiple off brand tv's (upgrading over time) and still not have spent as much for one b&o. the other point is the rapid advancement of

  • Re: A couple of queries from the new - boy? well I'm 58...............

Peter : Not convinced I would wall mount the 2400 - the insides are fairly packed and putting screws through the base could be marginal. They did originally come with legs that allowed you to tip the receiver forward. Very rare to find a full set these days! well in all honesty, i have yet to wall mount one myself (i have (7) of these currently -don't

regarding setup... the beomaster, beogram, and the beovox speakers are wall mountable if that helps. 1.) on the back of the beomaster you will see the screw slots. 2.) there is a wall mount "plate" available to "float" the beogram on the wall (horizontally ;-) ) in fact -there was a recent thread on here -a fellow was going to re

  • Re: Multi-Room control now possible

soundproof: Whatever works! My first thought when I saw the iPhone was that this is going to become the world's best remote control, for everything. Remote Buddy has made music and movie playback a pleasure in my apartment, and if the capabilities are enhanced I'm all for it! I think the AJAX remote protocol is going to become standard in the
